Learn Spanish for Travel

Not just the language — everything you need to move confidently through Latin America.

You’re not looking for textbook Spanish.

You’re going to Latin America — or you’re already there. You want to have real conversations, navigate real situations, and actually connect with the places you’re moving through.

Duolingo won’t get you there. A generic tutor won’t either.

This is different.

I’m Nati — certified Spanish teacher with a background in tourism and heritage, and a nomad who’s been slow-traveling across Latin America for over two years.

I don’t just teach you the language. I teach you the Spanish that’s actually useful on the road: the way people speak in markets, in hostels, on long-distance buses, in small towns far from the tourist trail.

And because I know the region the way a traveler does — not just as a map — I can also help you think through your route, understand what to expect, and prepare for the places you’re going. I’ve taught cultural and natural heritage at university level, and that perspective shows up in how I explain Latin America: not just logistics, but what makes each place actually make sense.

The method: immersion + tutoring

Research on language acquisition is pretty consistent on this: immersion accelerates learning faster than any classroom method. But immersion alone isn’t enough — without structure, you pick up habits and gaps in equal measure.

That’s where the tutoring comes in.

Before your trip: we work on what you’ll actually need — the vocabulary, the situations, the regional differences.

During your trip: we keep going. One or two sessions a week while you’re living it. You bring the real conversations, the confusing moments, the things that didn’t land — and we work from there.

That’s how it sticks.

Who this is for

  • Digital nomads, slow travelers, and long-term backpackers who stay weeks or months in one place, rather than rushing through a tourist checklist.
  • People who want to go beyond logistics and actually connect with where they are.
  • Anyone who’s been learning Spanish for a while but still doesn’t feel confident in real situations.

What you get

  • 1-on-1 live sessions, built around your trip, your route, and your goals.
  • Practical Spanish for real-life logistics: From navigating local markets and long-distance buses to managing your daily life as a nomad in Latin America — not grammar exercises for their own sake.
  • Travel context included: regional differences, cultural notes, what to expect on the ground.
  • First lesson – 1 hour – 15 USD
  • Single session — 1 hour — 25 USD
  • Monthly plan — 2 sessions per week — 175 USD

Complete the form and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to schedule your lesson.
